Annual Day 2024: Celebrating Talent and Community in Meghwal Mathia
In March 2024, Noor Girls High School hosted its Annual Day, a vibrant celebration of our students’ creativity, resilience, and voices. Held in Meghwal Mathia, the event showcased the talent and dedication of our students, who delivered a cultural program that resonated deeply with the audience.
The program featured a variety of performances, including thought-provoking theater pieces, soulful songs, and powerful poetry recitals. The students’ dramas tackled important social issues such as the impact of social media, the burden of dowry, and the necessity of educating girls to foster independence and opportunity. Each performance reflected their determination to spark dialogue and inspire change in their community.
What made the day especially meaningful was the turnout. Guardians and parents attended in large numbers, but the presence of so many mothers stood out as a significant and heartening milestone. Their attendance and enthusiastic engagement underscored the growing recognition of the importance of supporting and celebrating their children’s achievements.
This Annual Day was more than just an event; it was an extension of Hikmat’s work in the villages of Bihar, where we strive to provide a well-rounded education that builds confidence and amplifies the voices of girls. Through opportunities like these, students develop not only academically but also socially, as they learn to express themselves and inspire change in their communities.
